This portrait is of my niece. A lot of Albert's photography were done in black and white. Albert is a celebrity and fashion photographer. He also took photographs for advertising campaigns including Gap. I took this picture imagining that it would be featured in a Gap kids catalog.
Great use of the rule of thirds in this photo. It adds to the overall esthetic of the photo. I am curious to see the f-stop and the lens you used for this particular shoot because the shallow DOF compliments this photo. My only criticism is that if you're making an homage to Albert Watson, then I would reveal more of the child's clothing articles to exemplify the fashion. Otherwise, great portrait shot.
