Final Assignment

For my final assignment I want to incorporate images of both animate and inanimate subjects. I love black and white photography, therefore I am making that the theme of my final assignment.

Just one Little Bite- Fairytale inspired

This picture entitled "Just one little BITE" is inspired by the fairy tale Snow White. In an attempt to kill Snow White the Evil Queen offered her a poisonous apple. I wanted this picture to look as if the apple if directly in front of a person's face enticing them to take just one bite.

Assignment 4. Best of the Best

My Favorite Pictures
These are a few of my favorite pictures that I have ever taken
This picture was taken three years ago at a park in my neighborhood. I always admired the beauty of the lake that is home to many geese during the warmer weather. This picture was taken towards the end of winter, so the climate was changing but there are still no leaves on the tree. I love this picture because the colors are so vivid and the scenery is breathtaking. My favorite part of this picture is the reflection of the sky and trees in the water. This is a picture picture that captures the beauty of nature.
This picture was taken in during the change of the seasons, from winter to spring. I love this picture because with all of the branches that are photographed and can be overwhelming, you still focus onto the three berries. I also like this picture because the colors are vivid, I used Adobe Photoshop and adjusted the color levels. I took this picture three years ago in my beginning photography class. I haven't practiced my skills, so looking back I am pretty amazed at some of my work.

I took this photograph three years ago as well, of my good friend Chante. The background of the hudson river, the mountains, trees and dock are all very dull, but she brightens the picture. Her bright clothing and golden skin complexion really created a contrast in the picture.

Assignment 2- Camera skills 1

All of the pictures are of the same fountain in front of the Philadelphia Art Museum. With the last two pictures, I wanted to play with the shutter speed of the same image. My goal was to have one picture display the water drops and the other picture to have blurred water drops.
