Camera Skills II & III

INDOOR LIGHTING

First Picture: Light in front of subject
Second Picture: Light on the side of the subject
Third picture: Light behind the subject

Outdoor Lighting and Still Life
Object: Wedding Centerpiece
Subject: Donna

The two pictures above are of a wedding centerpiece. The focus is different in both photographs because I wanted to not only display the flowers but the other parts of the ensemble.

  1. A lot of great shots here utilizing natural lighting in various settings to your advantage. My personal favorite is the third picture of the young child in the left side of the frame with two sources of light illuminating both her and the room. All of your subjects are very photogenic, including your dog!

    Great series and I look forward to seeing more.

  2. Great photos. I love how you were able to capture different focuses for the centerpiece using outdoor lighting. The second picture of the little girl is very intriguing. The lighting and centering makes it appear as if she was caught off guard in mid thought. You can almost see the wheels turning in her head- like she's planning something. Very nice collection!
